Suturing

Expert wound closure by a plastic surgeon — for cuts and lacerations stitched with fine, meticulous technique to give the neatest possible scar.

Suturing

What it is

Suturing is the careful closure of cuts and lacerations. Closed by a plastic surgeon using fine, layered technique, even an everyday wound heals with a much finer scar than standard closure — which matters most on the face.

Who it's for

  • Fresh cuts and lacerations, especially on the face
  • Wounds where scar appearance matters
  • Patients wanting plastic-surgical closure
  • Revision of a wound for better healing

The procedure

Performed under local anaesthesia. The wound is cleaned, explored and closed in fine layers with sutures chosen for the site, in a quick in-clinic visit.

Recovery & aftercare

Keep the wound clean and dry. Sutures are removed at five to fourteen days depending on location, then scar care begins.
