Scar Treatment

Non-surgical management of scars of all kinds — flattening, fading and softening raised, dark or itchy scars with a tailored, evidence-based programme.

Scar Treatment

What it is

Scar treatment combines silicone therapy, steroid injections, laser and pressure to flatten, fade and soften scars without surgery. It is most effective started early, and is our first approach before any surgical revision is considered.

Who it's for

  • Raised, red or itchy hypertrophic scars
  • Keloid scars (common in South-Asian skin)
  • Dark or discoloured scars
  • Recent scars within the treatable early window

The procedure

A tailored, non-surgical programme — silicone gel or sheeting, intralesional steroid injections, and laser as needed — delivered and reviewed over several visits.

Recovery & aftercare

Minimal downtime. The programme runs over weeks to months, with the best results when started within the first few months of a scar forming.

Frequently asked

When should scar treatment start?+
Ideally within six to twelve weeks. Early treatment is far more effective than waiting for a scar to mature.
Can keloids be treated without surgery?+
Often yes — steroid injections, silicone and pressure control many keloids, which can otherwise recur after surgery alone.
Will the scar disappear?+
Scars are made flatter, paler and less noticeable rather than erased completely.
