Rhinoplasty
Nose reshaping that respects the face it belongs to — refining the bridge, tip or nostrils while preserving character and protecting breathing.
What it is
Rhinoplasty reshapes the bone and cartilage framework of the nose — straightening a hump, refining a bulbous tip, narrowing wide nostrils or correcting deviation after an old injury. Functional problems such as a deviated septum can be corrected in the same operation, so the nose looks better and breathes better.
Who it's for
- A dorsal hump, wide bridge or drooping, bulbous tip
- Nasal asymmetry or deviation after an old injury
- Breathing difficulty from a deviated septum
- Patients seeking balanced, natural refinement — not an artificial nose
The procedure
Performed under general anaesthesia and taking two to three hours. Depending on the correction, incisions are hidden entirely inside the nostrils (closed) or include a tiny step under the tip (open). A small external splint protects the new shape for the first week.
Recovery & aftercare
The splint comes off at one week, when most patients return to work. Bruising around the eyes settles in ten to fourteen days. Most swelling resolves by six weeks; the final refined tip continues to reveal itself for up to a year.
